Apoorva Mukhija, also known as ‘The Rebel Kid’ from the controversial India’s Got Latent episode, shared many screenshots on Tuesday. The post included a warning: acid attacks, rape threats, and death threats she’s received over the past few months.
Mukhija has more than 3 million followers on Instagram, and she deleted all her posts last week. This happened after YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia made comments about parents and sex that caused a big political problem. This caused a lot of police reports and official complaints to be filed against the people who organized the show, including Mukhija and the host, Samay Raina.
On Tuesday, Apoorva Mukhija came back to Instagram and posted several screenshots showing the hateful abuse she’s faced since the incident that made Raina delete all the show’s YouTube videos. She prefaced her post with a warning about the sensitive topics people that her post would talk about of acid attacks, rape threats, and death threats. She wrote her photo caption, “And that’s not even 1%.”

The controversy led to Apoorva Mukhija appearing before the Mumbai Police.She’s also being blamed for saying something offensive at the India’s Got Latent premiere in February. Because of the abusive and disgusting comments on the show, the National Commission for Women called in Allahbadia, Mukhija, Raina, Jaspreet Singh, Ashish Chanchlani, and producers Tushar Poojari and Saurabh Bothra.
Apoorva and other online creators got criticism for an episode of Samay Raina’s show called India’s Got Latent. In that time Apoorva was a guest on it. The show caused a big problem when Ranveer Allahbadia made rude comments about parents and sex. Because of this, many complaints were filed in Mumbai asking for action against him, Apoorva, and Samay.
On the YouTube show, Apoorva was accused of saying something offensive. She even went to the Mumbai police because of this case. The National Commission for Women also paid close attention to the nasty and offensive comments and called them in for questioning. Allahbadia promised to be more careful about his future social media posts when he returned last week.
